Giddy up Granby
First, there the cows in Chicago. Now it is horses in Granby, Connecticut. This was just one of the things that I discovered during my travels through the Berkshires for some retail therapy. (More accurately, getting what is needed and searching for a birthday gift.)
WE THE PEOPLE
The cooler nights have already begun turning some of the leaves. It was nice to see some brilliant color nestled in the valleys as we traveled back from the foggy Hudson River Valley. It was a perfect day to picnic in a small Massachusetts village, soon enough it will be too cold to do so. Those thoughts prompted a desire to get some apple cider doughnuts.
Cider doughnuts taste best when warm.
