Doctor’s Visit
When the nurse and doctor examined the wounds usually their expressions are stoic. Their expression on their face spoke volumes. I was told that the wounds were like second degree burns and would take two to three weeks to heal.
Each cleaning inflicts so much pain that it breaks my heart to have to clean his wounds. But I must or infection could set in, which would be much worse. He returns to the doctor in two days.
