Departures
It was wonderful to sit down and have a late night conversation with my eldest son. Rarely does one have a chance to tell a child how proud you are of them. What he has been able to accomplish for himself. Our relationship is changing away from mother and child.
He has a special connection with his brothers. Trips to Taco Bell top the list. Washing cars and playing in the pool.
He left after we celebrated his birthday. It was sad to see him go. Already I cannot wait for his temporary return in mid-August.
