Parades, Picnics and Parties
It was a good day for all these things.As we waited for the parade to begin we were buzzed by military aircraft flying low overhead.

The picnic was wonderful and the baked beans were well received. It was your traditional picnic fare, along with portabella burgers. S went into the cold pool, everyone shuddered when he jumped in and he stayed in for about 15 minutes. It was hot and humid, so I ventured into the the pool up to my knees. It was pleasantly refreshing.After the Birthday Boy opened his gifts there was the usual cake and ice cream.
Stuffed and overheated we headed home to get ready for the rest of the week.
