Fine examples

Years ago, it was Clinton and the blue dress. Now it is the blame game about Katrina. At least the government has provided me with ample opportunity to discuss morals and accountability and what not to do with my sons. Serving the public is a privilege; some public officials seem to forget that.

Surely we Americans must look foolish to the rest of the world. In addition, there are foreigners that can speak English better than our President.

Recently the former governor of Connecticut was released from federal prison and is now wearing a lovely ankle bracelet and is under house arrest. He is serving his sentence for the corruption charge, but his “good” name is no more.

Oh the lessons to be learned from our public officials. Yes there are good public officials, but it is the notorious that get the headlines. The media tends to focus on bad news, as it is more dramatic. Drama gets better ratings.
