Red Rock
Connecticut is diverse. There are all kinds of rocks around here... how do you think all those stone walls got there. Connecticut also has Red Sandstone. Sandstone erodes quickly due to its soft nature. Soon the edges become smooth. The Red rock and sand crumbles and falls to the ground.
The rock is sort of like us humans as we age;gravity takes over and parts get closer to the ground. What once was hard and firm, softens.
