Advocating for Common Sense
Some quotes have been playing in my mind. The first comes from Deputy Greg Gabriel, who lead the recent rescue of some Caltech students:
"common sense is not factored into the intelligence quotient"
This also applies to rules. The situation may be simple enough and the rules simple, however sometimes the rules should not apply, due to common sense. In order to make things right, I need to present supporting evidence that this is the case.
Being annoyed at having to make a case, which to me is quite obvious, Ruins my day. Hopefully I will know the outcome of my efforts later this week.
