Stubborn Oaks
Why is it that some Oak trees hang onto their leaves until the spring buds push them off?
Even during extreme wind, these spent brown leaves are locked in place. Nothing is more frustrating than to clean up your yard only to have these lovelies drop the leaves. This year the neighbor's Oak had dropped most of it's leaves so this Spring will not be too bad.
