Goodbye tree
Oh Christmas tree, you have served us well this holiday season. Your branches steeped in tradition and trimmed with memories of past years. Icicles dangled. Lights glowed. Candy canes that once graced your branches have been eaten.
Packing away our delicate treasures, which will not be seen again until December, saddens my heart. Stripped of all decorations, the time has come to let you go.
