Over time we come to expect certain things during the holidays. It’s just not the same with out it. For our family at Christmas, it’s the Santa Cookies. I get to make them. The recipe makes about 28 cookies. It’s at least a three day process. Day one is make and bake. Day two is complete, which was mustache, eyebrows and hat. They are lined up like toy soldiers, ready for the next step.
Day three is the beard. The mustache has to dry before doing the beard. After this is done and the beard is dry, they can be wrapped and packaged.
