Aftermath
No shopping today. Even with the sales, I have no desire to venture out. Thankfully I didn't have to stand in the long return lines.
It's a raining day, cold and damp with thunder and lightening. Since my spirits are already dampened,it's a great time to settle accounts and pay bills. It will be nice to know where our finances stand when the New Year starts. Luckly, this was a cash Christmas so we will not be looking a big bills next month. Well maybe big heating bills. My calico, Mitzi climbs on my lap to help. There is nothing like a purring cat to help soothe one's soul.
